TASTING NOTES
The Acrobat Pinot Noir delivers notes of dark cherry, raspberry, rich plum and cinnamon on the nose. Bright acidity and elegant tannins shine on the palate, leading to a juicy but delicate finish. Enjoy a glass with a classic woodfired pizza.
WINEMAKING PROCESS
Winemaking for the Acrobat Pinot Noir was dictated by one goal: capture the best attributes of Oregon. This Pinot Noir is almost a perfect blend of Oregon’s top appellations - Rogue Valley, Umpqua Valley, and Willamette Valley. Early harvest, stainless steel fermentation, and a combination of gentle punchdowns and pumpover all aimed at revealing the bright red fruits and ripe tannins in this red wine. The wine was gently pressed and aged for 9 months in French oak, where it completed malolactic fermentation.
