DESCRIPTION
This natural, skin-fermented orange wine is made from a blend of Malvasia (30%) and Trebbiano (70%) grapes grown in the Abruzzo hills of Italy.
The production of “Orange” wine starts at the beginning of October with a careful selection of grapes, which are hand-harvested in the Abruzzo hills. The grape crushing is soft and the fermentation starts spontaneously thanks to the indigenous yeasts, and it lasts for over 60 days. It is a white grape fermentation but with red winemaking technique. The skins release into the wine the color and aromas, progressively reaching a bright orange color. The maturation is in steel on the lees for 3 months. This is a natural wine that does not have any type of filtration but only a simple decantation before bottling.
TASTING NOTES
