A liquid ode to our past, 19 crimes is inspired by those who, beginning in 1788, were transported to Australia for hard labour. 'the banished' depicts James McNally Wilson (1832-1921), who managed to flee Australia in 1876, landing in New York and spending his remaining years in the U.S.
Tasting Notes
Deep red with purplish tints, this wine assaults the nose with ripe blackberries and juicy plums and follows it up with full rich flavours, hints of chocolate and cinnamon, and a lingering finish.
